Hroo, I’m Beyla Smoozle and I live in a secret cave at Greenwell Farm on Burray. I’m really quite shy but I have met my new best friend, Tiddles and we are now going on lots of adventures.
Tiddles
Meow, I’m Tiddles Farm Cat of greenwell Farm on Burray. I followed Jolly Farmer Ed and Farmer Jo to a secret cave and found myself a new friend, called Beyla and she makes me feel really special. She gave me a special magical scale from her cloak and now we go on lots of adventures together.
Jolly Farmer Family
Hi, I am Jolly Farmer Ed and my lovely wife, Farmer Jo. We live at Greenwell Farm on Burray with Chuckziewoo (Who is VERY grumpy, ALL of the time, unless eating sausages!), Teddybear (Who is quite silly, forgetful and bouncy and follows Chuckziewoo everywhere!) and Tiddles, who keeps all the mice away… but I think there is one still in the house as my cheese and cakes keep having nibbles out of them! Oh and my little bags of Yorkshire Tea have nibbles too!
Sigurd Selkie
Honk honk, I’m Sigurd and I live and swim in the waters around Hunda, Echna Bay, Causeway 3 and Glimps Holm. I don’t like to swim far away unless to see my friends in Holm village shore, I have a lovely rocky beach where I can laze out undisturbed on sunny days and I have yummy food in the deep. I live with my best friend, Sigrid.
Sigrid Selkie
Honk honk, I’m Sigrid and I am usually with Sigurd. We are the best of very best friends. Sometimes, though I do like to take off my skin on the beach at Greenwell and see what is happening on land…but not for very long as I get really quite hungry for a few mackerel or salmon.
Magnus Mouse
Squeek, I’m Magnus Mouse and I live in the kitchen at Greenwell Farm. I keep out of the way of Jolly Farmer Ed and Farmer Jo but sometimes I do love to go and find some yummy nibbles. My other job is to help Tiddles escape through the catflap and away from Chuckziewoo and Teddybear.
Drew the Shrew
Squeek, I’m Drew the Shrew and I keep loosing my eyeblinks. You see I havent got very good blinkers as I am better underground, but my favourite dungarees keep getting dirty so I prefare to live on a small hill near Jess Mackay’s dyke. I know that I am a peedie thing but I have a really big heart and I like to help my friends, so I stand tall and say Droooooooo to the rescuoooooooo!
Leonard and Limpet
Cow-cow, I’m Leonard the Burray seagull and this is Limpet who lives on my claw. We are great friends and do EVERYTHING together.
Jon Jackdaw
Caw, I’m Jon and I live on Burray. I really love hiding behind the dykes in fields to see what is happening everywhere. Other animals say that I’m nebby nosey beaky, BUT I just like to know the news especially so I can tell my friend, Katje.
Katje
Meeeeow, I’m Katje and I’m actually very friendly, but no one knows that, especially the sea animals! I live by myself in the sunken ship and my friend Jon tells me the land news everyday and brings me what I ask for. I LOVE shiny, sparkly things!
