“Hello, I’m Sallianne, and I’ve dedicated over 20 years to teaching in primary schools. My passions lie within Humanities, Art & Design, and Creative Arts, particularly focusing on the latter throughout my career. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in various locations including Oman (Muscat), UAE (Abu Dhabi), India (Bangalore), England (London) and Scotland, where I’ve engaged with a diverse array of curriculums.”
After dedicating many years to full-time teaching, I’ve embraced a new journey as a supply teacher in Orkney. This allows me to stay current with teaching practices, whilst pursuing my passion for working with animals and writing. Drawing inspiration from Orkney’s rich history, geography and folklore, I intricately weave these imaginative tales into the fabric of the Smoozle books.
